JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to company and departmental policies and procedures.
• To assist the bartender(s) and cocktail staff in performance of their duties
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar on a daily basis including before, during and after shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment at all times during shift including: removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, picking up and dumping garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing equipment
• Maintain and organized bar
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items and hotel services.
• Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner. Ability to interact with the public and provide excellent customer service.Ability to have and make conversation
• Know guidelines for serving alcohol with care.
• Knowing and conveying hotel activities to guests
• Perform specific tasks related to bars as assigned: organizing, ordering, stocking and cleaning
• Ability to lift and carrying product by hand as well as with carts or hand trucks
• Maintain and organize bars and storerooms
• Refill chemicals such as hand soap or glass washer chemicals
• Ability to operate a glassware washing machine
• Ability to re-fill ice bins and beer bins, utilizing ice machines
• Knowledge of product
• Ability to operate a glassware washer
• Answering phones
• Maintain proper inventory of product
• Maintain and neat, professional image and appearance at all times
• All other duties as assigned

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee: must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, team members and others.
• Is regularly required to sit; stand; walk and move through all areas of the casino; speak and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull.
