Summary

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager and the supervision of the professional nurse, perform a variety of clerical duties associated with patient care unit operations.

Qualifications

Required:
Two (2) years' experience as a Unit Clerk in a hospital setting
Computer literacy along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Unit SpecificMedical OncologyRequired:
Must successfully complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) within six (6) months of hire or position entry.

BHSRequired:
Must successfully complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) within six (6) months of hire or position entry.

ICURequired:
Must successfully complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) within six (6) months of hire or position entry.
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in the State of Nevada.
