Warehouse AssociateApply now »Date: Nov 8, 2024Location: Reno, NV, US, 89502Company: Dorman ProductsJob SummaryThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for the receiving, tagging, sorting and pulling of all Core.Primary DutiesLearn & follow detailed work instructionsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties that may be outside of assigned priorities listed belowCore Responsibilities:Use scanners to put conveyer core in appropriate binsKeeps receiving stations filled with coreBreaks down core as neededIdentifies core properlyOperate forklift to load and unload parts off trucksUse tow motor to unload inbound trucksIdentify and sort incoming productStore parts in designated locationPull parts needed for production and ship to main plantEnter data into and review information in CMS as neededParticipate in various improvement activitiesOther duties as assignedQualificationsAbility to communicate courteously and effectively with coworkersProficient in CMSAbility to work as a team memberMust be able to obtain forklift licenseMust have basic computer/data entry skillsAbility to stand all day, stoop & bend and lift up to 50 lbs.Must have clean driving record for past three years & pass DOT drug screen if assigned to drive box truckCommitment to meeting production demands and quality requirementsUnderstand Customer requirements as they relate to their job functionAbility to identify and address and/or communicate any potential non-conformancesAbility to get to work on time with minimal absencesWorking Conditions: Noise level is usually moderate.
