As a Sales Lead, you will be a leader in helping the store achieve sales goals. Work with the entire Sales Team to ensure Customer Care compliance. Maintain the exit location at the store to ensure loss prevention and proper sales procedures are followed. Must be present during all peak customer traffic periods, such as weekends, sale days, or any other high customer flow occasions. Assist with training new and certified sales staff. Ensure successful implementation of promotional activities. Help maintain all policies and procedures. Always be pleasant, respectful, and helpful.

Essential Functions

1. Ensure store adheres to safety and environmental policies. Promote a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant store.
2. Responsible for store housekeeping.
3. Work with sales personnel to improve store results.
4. Participate in training and delegation of sales staff.
5. Assist management in training and developing sales staff.
6. Communicate policies and procedures; lead by example.
7. Assist with sales reports and store tasks.
8. Participate in customer care functions.
9. Attend weekly meetings to update and motivate the sales team, review KPIs.
10. Train sales staff to improve selling effectiveness.
11. Ensure policies, sales, marketing, and merchandising initiatives are current and implemented.
12. Ensure sales transactions and cash procedures comply with policies.
13. Safeguard company assets.
14. Promote a positive work environment.
15. Support the Sales Team, help with policies, customer interactions, and standards.
16. Identify when customer interactions need management support.

Qualifications

1. Always work safely.
2. Good people skills, outgoing, positive attitude.
3. Ability to work retail hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
4. Reliable transportation.
5. Proficient in English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
6. Knowledge of automotive parts/products and recognition skills.
7. Maintain a neat appearance per dress code.
8. Retail experience preferred but not required.
