Guides, directs, and coaches employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects. Understands customer needs to provide sales and service that meet their financial objectives. Advises on products and strategies, makes referrals, and supports sales activities to meet customer experience and profitability goals, in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Additional Requirements: This position may act as a consumer loan originator and requires registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, as well as background and credit checks.

Responsibilities:

  4. Build collaborative teams and attract top talent.
  5. Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth and customer retention.
  6. Conduct sales calls and develop a referral network.
  7. Understand customer needs and promote marketing programs.
  8. Support community involvement and build relationships.
  9. Resolve customer issues and fulfill sales activities.
  10. Lead program and initiative implementation.
  11. Monitor performance and develop action plans to address gaps.
  12. Analyze data for insights and decision-making.
  13. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  14. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
  15. Manage expenses and operational outcomes.
  16. Handle complex customer situations and escalate when necessary.
  17. Ensure confidentiality and report suspicious activity.
  18. Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience with a related degree or equivalent.
  2. Management experience preferred.
  3. Deep knowledge of retail banking products, services, and regulations.
  4. Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and influence skills.
  5. Data-driven decision-making ability.

Salary: $56,000 - $104,000
