Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Accounting Assistant to join their collaborative and supportive accounting team. This full-time position offers $25/hour and is expected to run short-term, with the potential for extension based on funding. Training will be provided, and youll be joining a team that values cooperation, accuracy, and a positive work culture.

What Youll Bring:

• Experience in customer service and administrative support
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What Youll Do:

• Communicate professionally with customers via phone, email, and mail
• Accurately document customer interactions and maintain organized records
• Complete daily deposit tasks and process financial transactions
• Reconcile internal financial reports for accuracy and completeness
• Handle returns and resolve credit card disputes
• Create and manage customer accounts in the States accounting system
• Enter and verify transactions with a high level of accuracy
• Provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders
• Support special projects and perform additional duties as needed
