A Day in the Life:

As a Sr. Commercial Manager at Monster Energy, you'll play a pivotal role in driving brand success within your designated bottler region. Your leadership in commercialization duties will be crucial in ensuring that the Monster Energy brands thrive both within the bottling system and at retail outlets. You'll work closely with the local Business Unit field sales team and the bottler, fostering strong partnerships to maximize brand presence and performance. Your role is essential in steering the success of Monster Energy's dynamic lifestyle brands, ensuring they capture the market's attention and drive our company's growth in the beverage industry.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Be an expert on the bottler, their systems and processes as well as the local retail landscape. Build, develop, and/or customize programs, go-to-market plans for brands within the bottler region. Build, implement, and manage any incentives implemented with bottler network
  • Integrate with BU Leadership team to communicate brand priorities to bottler for execution at retail. Collaborate with MEC field marketing, brand management and customer teams to create programs for brand and retail success locally
  • Manage bottler's Local Marketing Funds (LMF) to include setting the budget, tracking spends and communicating updates/opportunities to the local field and bottler sales teams. Manage the use of premiums, dealer loaders, point of sale materials, coolers and other equipment to maximize Return on Investment (ROI) in the market. Manage bottler specific supply chain issues to ensure that our brands are forecasted, ordered, warehoused and delivered in an appropriate manner. Manage customer promotional and pricing issues as needed
  • Provide sales updates as needed to all key bottler contacts and leadership on their respective region, including analysis of performance and metrics. Report and present performance, issues and opportunities
  • Spend time in the local markets to ensure brand execution is occurring at the desired levels, maintain a current knowledge of competitive activity and pricing. Steward innovation launches and new product commercialization within the bottler's territory
  • Communicate customer activity and to ensure placement in the bottlers Picture of Success and commercial standards. Share knowledge and Best in Class examples with peers
  • Collaborate with field marketing, brand management and customer teams to create programs for brand and retail

Who You Are:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business, Marketing, Finance or related field of study
  • Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in sales -- retail, broker and distributor
  • Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), beverage industry
  • Computer Skills Desired: Proficiency using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with forecasting, Nielsen/IRI, POS and Inventory reports
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Possess an understanding of bottler system and DSD networks. Represent the Company in a professional manner and possess a strong work ethic

Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation. This position has an annual estimated salary of $70,200-$120,000. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
