Position Summary

Our CNA's serve as support personnel in the ASC's pre-op/post-op areas, including assisting with patient admissions, patient procedures, care and maintenance of procedural instrumentation, discharging patients, chart preparation, medical records, medication administration, assisting providers and other personnel as needed, and other duties as required.
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assumes responsibility for competency of practice and takes initiative for professional development and continuing education.
  • Ability to assess, prioritize, plan and implement patient care within the scope of practice.
  • Other duties as assigned
Experience Requirements
  • One-year skilled nursing experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Communication skills
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; some college preferred
  • Completion of Medical Assistant certification program or Certified Nurses Aid Program
  • Current BLS Certification
