Engagement ManagerLocation: Remote, United States, United StatesDescriptionDodge Construction Network (Dodge) is looking for an experienced Engagement Manager. In this role, you will work on our team that is dedicated to research and consulting exclusively focused on the building materials and construction industry. As an Engagement Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage and participate with consulting engagement teams in the design, execution, and delivery of research and analysis that support strategic business decisions for our clients.This positionreportsdirectly to the Director, Consulting.Preferred LocationThis is a remote, home-office based role and candidates located in the continental United States will be consideredFor this position, there is a preference to hire in Eastern or Central time zones; however, highly qualified candidates in other time zones may also be consideredTravel RequirementsExpected travel is up to 10% for this role.Essential FunctionsDay-to-day responsibility for the design and execution of consulting engagementsDevelop/refine scope of engagement, scheduling, budget, and client deliverablesDrive staff performance to successful completion of engagementOrganize and lead research teams in gathering and analyzing data, in a timely manner with allotted budgetObtain research data through a vast network of relationships and contacts, both primary and secondary researchConductselectprimary interviews to obtain critical insights and informationPrepare and present detailed reports/presentation material (findings and analysis) to clientsGuide the development of analysis, appraisal and recommendations, oral presentations, and all supporting documentationServe as key client liaison throughout duration of engagementTrain and mentor new employeesLead company training in strategic development and management workshopsSupport business development efforts by maintaining client relationships, and assisting in proposal development and internal planning activitiesEducation RequirementBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experienceAdvanced degree preferredRequired Experience, Knowledge and Skills5-7 years of consulting and project management experienceAbility to work with market assessment models to understand demand and supply dynamicsExperience conducting in-depth interviews (IDIs) with industry participantsAbility to present findings to clients in a clear and conclusive mannerExcellent computing and data processing skills to consolidate and interpret industry dataExperience with PowerPoint and Excel requiredExcellent time management skills and the ability to schedule and plan client meetings and implement and meet project deadlinesExcellent time management skills and the ability to schedule and plan client meetings and implement and meet project deadlinesPreferred Experience, Knowledge and SkillsExperience with Tableau or similar toolsRelevant work experience inbuildingmaterials or construction related businessKnowledge of construction industryAbout Dodge Construction NetworkDodge Construction Network exists to deliver the comprehensive data and connections the construction industry needs to build thriving communities. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job-related factors.
