IT - Systems Engineer - Manufacturing System

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) is a global leader in EV batteries, covering R&D, manufacturing, and sales for battery systems in new energy vehicles and energy storage systems. The company aims to provide innovative solutions for the global energy sector.

To support the growing electric vehicle industry in the United States, CATL's U.S. subsidiary, CATK, seeks skilled Manufacturing Systems Engineers to manage and optimize manufacturing systems. Responsibilities include providing on-site technical support, training staff, and resolving issues related to MES, MWR, MCC, and other IT systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support production lines on-site, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
  • Train staff on manufacturing IT systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing modules to improve productivity.
  • Collaborate across teams to align IT systems with manufacturing processes.
  • Manage systems like MES, MWR, and MCC to improve scheduling and resource use.
  • Lead upgrades and enhancements of manufacturing systems.
  • Document configurations and procedures to promote best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in designing and supporting manufacturing systems.
  • Proven skills in MES, MWR, MCC implementation and support.
  • Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills for manufacturing IT systems.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and automation technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Full-time availability and ability to work on-site regularly.
