The PositionHighway Maintenance Supervisors supervise skilled and semi-skilled personnel engaged in restoring roadway surfaces and restoring or constructing slopes, shoulders, culverts, structures, fixtures and landscaping.Incumbents function as first-line supervisors who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; assign and review work; and initiate disciplinary action.The Nevada Department of Transportation is recruiting to fill the Highway Maintenance Supervisor I position on the Landscaping Crew in Carson City, Nevada. Oversee the work of a specialty crew engaged in maintaining highway-landscaped areas and irrigation systems.
