Oversees the Security Department on assigned shift in the absence of the Security Shift Supervisor. When both are on shift, performs duties as Lead Officer. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: Manages the administrative functions of the department on assigned shift. Assigns and schedules the Security staff to provide optimum security for Harrahs guests, employees and assets. Directs all Harrahs employees in emergency situations, i.e., bomb threats, fires, or evacuation. Approves or initiates arrests and 86s on assigned shift. Conducts training on assigned shift. Must be able to perform the duties of Security Officer and Lead Security Officer Ensures the delivery of great customer service through the demonstration and utilization of the Spotlight 5 skills program. Qualifications: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Highschool Diploma or equivalent preferred. Oneyear experience as Lead Officer or similar supervisory experience or equivalent.
