Under the general supervision of department leadership, this position produces optimal diagnostic images, fluoroscopy procedures and mammograms (screening, diagnostic, and biopsies) while providing excellent patient care. The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient care while in the Radiology Department. The incumbent is also responsible for managing staff and work flow on a day to day basis. Nature and Scope: The incumbent must provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families. The incumbent must also demonstrate the ability to work with the physical, motor/sensory adaptation, cognitive, and psychosocial needs specific to the population being served and meet standards of quality as measured by the Unit/ Department age specific competency standards.
