Role Summary
We're looking for a hands-on Desktop Support Technician to maintain and support user hardware and software for a growing public sector team. This role will support device setup, upgrades, troubleshooting, and general IT needs across a 50+ user environment, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Install software, perform patches, and maintain device inventories
- Set up and configure new employee equipment
- Assist with annual hardware refresh planning and procurement
- Support Microsoft 365 and cloud drive access issues
- Provide end-user training and documentation
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of IT or desktop support experience
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11 troubleshooting
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work on-site at least twice a week in the Tahoe region
Preferred Skills- Experience with help desk ticketing systems
- Familiarity with Kronos/UKG or other timekeeping tools
Pay Range
$30–$35/hr depending on experience

Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications. In accordance with Nevada law, this role includes a pay range, and final rates will reflect a candidate's experience, skills, and alignment with project needs.
