Part-Time Security Officer

Location: Sparks, NV

Salary: $17 per hour

Summary: At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.

Minimum/Preferred Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security experience a plus.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Active PILB card or the ability to obtain one is required.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in our standard background screening process.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the clients premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
