Job Summary

The Order Selector is responsible for safely operating warehouse equipment, including electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and stock pickers, to accurately select, label, and palletize products for customer orders. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate electric pallet jack, reach truck, and stock picker safely and efficiently.
• Select correct products from warehouse racking according to order requirements.
• Use RF technology to generate and apply product labels.
• Palletize product according to procedures (e.g., labels facing out, no heavy-on-light stacking).
• Stage pallets in correct dock locations for loading.
• Stretch-wrap pallets and prepare for outbound shipment.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Maintain and properly use all assigned equipment, including RF units and PPE.
• Work until all products are selected and loaded; overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Performance Expectations

• Meet or exceed engineered production standards and efficiency goals.
• Maintain established accuracy rates with minimal errors.
• Work at a steady, fast pace for the duration of the shift.
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of product placement and inventory control procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for job and safety requirements.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Physical fitness to perform warehouse duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
