This position provides indirect and direct patient care within the rehabilitation environment. The incumbent assists in the management of the physical environment including, but not limited to, cleaning of gym space and equipment, ordering of supplies, basic maintenance of equipment, patient scheduling, and clerical duties. Nature and Scope This position is a supporting role in the Rehab therapy department. This position is responsible for providing continuity of business operations, support functions, and direct patient care functions under the supervision of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Therapy Leadership. This position is responsible for transporting of equipment and supplies. This position also assists therapists with patient mobility and activities of daily living as directed by the licensed therapists, transporting of patients for speech studies, and assisting with feeding patients during speech exams.
