Wilson Engineers has offices in Arizona and Nevada with a staff of more than 215 personnel specializing in water and wastewater engineering and construction management services. We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for innovative design to every project. From concept development to construction documentation, you'll play a key role in shaping spaces that inspire and endure.

This position requires 40 hours per week in our Minden, NV or Reno, NV offices. (This job is not remote.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs from concept through completion
• Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD and BIM software
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and feasibility
• Conduct site visits and oversee construction to ensure compliance with design intent and building codes
• Prepare presentations and renderings for client meetings and public hearings
• Research materials, building systems, and sustainability strategies
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
• Licensed Architect or on track for licensure (preferred)
• 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction methods
• Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for design excellence and sustainable practices
