What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage a team of Senior Managers and Project Managers in the strategic planning and execution of congress activities
- Oversee the annual congress planning process, ensuring alignment with therapeutic and cross-functional leads
- Ensure compliance and risk mitigation in congress activities while delivering impactful experiences
- Monitor and report on congress success metrics, including stakeholder feedback and engagement data
- Guide financial planning for congress activities, managing budgets and vendor relationships

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate degree and 3 years of experience in congress/event planning, strategic operations, or cross-functional program management in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries
- Masters degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or Bachelors degree and 7 years of experience
- Associates degree and 12 years of experience, or High school diploma/GED and 14 years of experience in related fields
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of compliance processes and regulations related to healthcare professional engagement

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, CMP, CEM, or PMP certification)
- Experience with large-scale, global congress planning across multiple therapeutic areas
- Deep knowledge of HCP engagement regulations (PhRMA, EFPIA)
- Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Salesforce
