About the Role:
Marathon Staffing is seeking a qualified Maintenance Repair Specialist to join our Operations Unit. This team is responsible for the repair, modification, and maintenance of buildings and grounds. This is a full-time position based in Carson City, Nevada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and inspect capital improvement projects.
• Perform skilled work across multiple mechanical and construction trades.
• Oversee all phases of building construction, including bid solicitation, contract review, and compliance.
• Interpret construction contracts, plans, and specifications to ensure adherence to codes and design requirements.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA and state standards.
• Operate tools and equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and power mowers.
• Maintain inventory and equipment records, prepare reports, and supervise contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• 3+ years of experience in two or more mechanical/construction trades.
• 3+ years of project coordination experience, including one year at the journey level or equivalent education/experience.

Skills & Experience:

• Construction inspection and compliance knowledge.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and plans.
• Experience with CAD and project management software.
• Knowledge of ADA requirements and OSHA safety standards.
• Skilled in operating and maintaining hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Salary & Benefits:

• Annual Salary: $76,608 – $114,693 (based on experience and retirement plan selection).

Working Conditions:
