Cage Cashiers are responsible for cash handling in the cage and must be able to adhere to and follow Nevada State Gaming Control and in-house casino policies and procedures. Essential Job Functions: Must have the ability to accurately calculate money. Count in and balance cash drawer using cage count sheet. Complete sales transactions for cigarettes and other items. Cash out Casino tickets for guests. Add Free Play to Players Cards as needed. Sign up and issue guests Players Cards. Achieve company objectives in customer service by ensuring that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always. Cash Sports Book tickets if the Sports Book is closed. Pay out all jackpots to the Slot Attendant, MOD, Lead MOD, Casino Manager, or other property representative as appropriate. Conducts an inventory of all cash and its equivalents. Assist in product ordering when needed. Assist with Casino cleanliness on the Slot Floor and in the Cage.
