Overview

JOB SUMMARY: Independently creates and delivers advanced learning and performance related solutions, events and programs aimed at developing complex skills, knowledge and experience that significantly improve talent performance and results. Leads complex projects and team(s) responsible for consulting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions in partnership with department leadership, resources, and business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the build of defined learning and performance solutions and performance support initiatives using instructional design methodologies and the training project life cycle.
  • Conduct needs analysis with business partners and subject matter experts to identify performance needs and root causes, recommending sophisticated learning solutions and defining deliverables.
  • Partner with department leadership to establish innovative and scalable learning solutions that broaden complex skill sets and build experience across levels, reinforcing a strong team and business culture to achieve performance results.
  • Build strong partnerships for collaboration and accountability of deliverables outlined in agreements, ensuring effective and efficient learning solutions.
  • Establish criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Plan and execute learning and performance solutions, troubleshoot, and manage pre-, on-site and post-program activities to ensure safe, professional, productive and cost-effective programs.
  • Apply inclusive learning techniques to address diverse needs and create an environment conducive to learning for all participants.
  • Monitor and analyze program metrics for trends and present recommendations for enhancements.
  • Create marketing and communications, presentations and other materials tied to programs for distribution to multiple employees and management levels.
  • Develop, manage and maintain repeatable processes and reporting for new and existing programs to drive improvement and innovation.
  • Identify opportunities to replicate solutions for broader audiences.
  • Stay current with instructional design and industry best practices to recommend new tools, media and digital learning techniques.
  • Lead special projects as required and provide mentorship and coaching to team members.
  • Collaborate across disciplines and departments and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelors degree or High School diploma plus four years of related experience
  • 8 years of experience in learning & development, organizational development or related fields
  • Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles, learning styles and instructional design methodologies
  • Advanced knowledge of Companys operational and general business practices
  • Big-picture focus on departmental and company strategy
  • Proactive, independent judgment and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Strong collaboration with customers to achieve outcomes aligned with corporate priorities
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and schedules
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Experience with live and web-based facilitation and training
  • Ability to motivate, instruct, and train others using technical and non-technical language
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, WebEx, SharePoint, Brainshark, and related tools
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment


Compensation

The salary range for this position is $80-90K. Specific offers consider education, experience, skills, location and internal equity. This position is eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunities.
