Overview

Pure Ground Ingredients, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement and sourcing activities for our food manufacturing facility. As the Purchasing Manager, you will have the opportunity to implement and execute strategic purchasing initiatives, collaborate with vendors and suppliers, and optimize the supply chain processes.

Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Carson City, NV

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing and on-time delivery of goods and services
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and handle supplier performance evaluations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess potential suppliers and develop sourcing strategies
• Monitor inventory levels, track market trends, and anticipate supply chain risks
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of procurement principles and practices
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office applications
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset
