General
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce policies and procedures that enhance overall system security. Contribute expertise to strategic planning, capacity management, and IT initiatives to support organizational goals; perform related work as apparent or assigned.
Systems
Responsible for managing and overseeing systems, applications and related security operations. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems to ensure security and reliability. Provide project leadership, ensuring IT resources are maintained with integrity and efficiency. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement upgrades and patches to safeguard against vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities
- Assist management with technology planning, evaluate new technology; assist in acquisition and recommend system modifications for improvement.
- Pull and terminate network cables, punch down cables into patch panels, ensure proper alignment and strong connections. Test installations with cable testers and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Implements and enforces security policies and procedures, manages access controls and conducts security audits.
- Maintain detailed documentation of systems, functions, dependencies and software configurations; document changes.
- Mentor team members to promote skill development and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate IT solutions, support new technology implementations, and ensure seamless connectivity.
- Ensure work complies with applicable laws, regulations, policies, requirements and best practices.
- Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance to keep systems and infrastructure secure and up-to-date.

- Manage, configure, and monitor the organization's network systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and secure gateways to protect data and assets.
- Design, configure, deploy, and manage wired and wireless network infrastructure for reliable data connectivity.
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, outages and performance problems; perform root-cause analysis and implement fixes.
- Manage user access and permissions; configure wireless access points, VLANs, subnets and network policies to control access.
- Install, program, and maintain software for security systems including cameras, alarms, intercoms and door access controls.
Systems
- Administer, configure, and monitor security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection and response, VPNs, access controls, and endpoint security solutions to safeguard data and assets.
- Design, configure, deploy, and manage systems and applications for reliable operations for internal departments, external partners, and remote users.
- Continuously monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks or security issues, and resolve them.
- Diagnose and resolve software and application issues, outages and performance problems with root-cause analysis.
- Oversee identity management, user access and permissions; ensure proper configuration to regulate access.
- Administer issuance, renewal, and revocation of digital certificates for secure encryption and authentication.
- Install, program, maintain and troubleshoot on-premise and cloud systems to provide applications and services.
- Provide hands-on technical support for system-related concerns and resolve issues related to systems and software solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in enterprise network architecture, strategic planning, project management, cybersecurity; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
