Base pay range

$29.00/hr - $33.00/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $29–$33 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience)

The Account Manager I serves as the primary liaison between the company and its customers. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will cultivate long-term relationships and make informed decisions that impact business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of assigned customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Maintain knowledge of customer contracts and program assignments to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to grow existing and new business opportunities.
  • Participate in or lead cross-functional company or customer initiatives.
  • Respond to product inquiries and customer RFQs (requests for quotations).
  • Process and track customer purchase orders through the manufacturing process.
  • Deliver high-level customer service by responding to inquiries, ship dates, and general requests.
  • Travel as needed to company or customer locations, trade shows, and other events.
  • Report hazardous or suspicious conditions immediately to management.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience in Aerospace OR manufacturing with a strong preference for experience working with distributor accounts.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret contracts, pricing, technical specs, and business documents.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage non-standard situations.
  • Proficiency in ERP and MRP systems.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to write clear, professional reports and business correspondence.
  • Mathematical proficiency in areas such as percentages, interest, area, and volume.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in English (reading and writing).

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar role; manufacturing industry experience preferred.

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
