Job Summary
The Inventory Recovery Technician is responsible for all steps of the repair process, including region HUB collaboration, repair logging, identifying repair trends, and completing all testing duties in a timely and professional manner. The Inventory Recovery Technician will be the main point of contact for all repair/testing related tasks and questions, working closely with the resale team and the rest of the Reverse Logistics team to evaluate proper listing channels and campaigns.

Responsibilities
* Manage repair logs to ensure proper repair/testing follow-through
* Ensure all items are properly tested and repaired prior to listing
* Foster a team-oriented environment by maintaining a positive, professional attitude in all internal and external correspondents
* Communicate with internal departments on any customer-related questions, repair trends and commonalities
* Independently make decisions on product resolution (scrap vs repair)
* Oversee parts inventory to ensure accurate product availability
* Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership
* Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goal
* Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation
Physical Requirements
* Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
* Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
* Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
* Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
* Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.
Qualifications
Experience
* Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; maintenance experience in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC fields preferred but not required.
* Forklift equipment experience preferred but not required
