System Arborist

Liberty is dedicated to ensuring the safety and beauty of our service territory through effective vegetation management. We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable System Arborist to join our team and help us achieve our goals.

Accountabilities include overseeing and coordinating vegetation management work for capital projects, coordinating inspections, permitting, procurement, and work implementation for the removal or maintenance of vegetation for construction of new lines or rebuilding existing lines, identifying vegetation management work needed to facilitate construction, communicating with project managers, engineers, and operations during planning, pre-construction, and construction activities, and more.

Education and experience requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Vegetation Management, Natural Resources Management, or related field, or equivalent experience, 3+ years of experience in utility arboriculture, and required certification: ISA Certified Arborist or Registered Professional Forester.
