Power BI Developer Reno, NV Onsite

CGI is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join its dynamic team in Reno, NV. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards that transform data into actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver cutting?edge solutions for our clients.

Position description

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) and ensure data integrity.
• Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.
• Implement data governance best practices.
• Collaborate with cross?functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
• Provide support and training to client support on Power BI tools and reports.

• Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience working with report development on IT projects.
• At least 3 years of that experience must have been spent on analysis and development of reports using Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem?solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with Snowflake Data Platform.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jira.

Compensation: $61,900.00 - $137,100.00 (U.S.)
