What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Conduct research, financial modeling, and analysis of complex healthcare claims data to identify actionable insights
• Develop key strategic reports and analytics using SQL programming and Business Intelligence tools
• Analyze and recommend cost-saving opportunities in alignment with enterprise strategies
• Support the Provider Network contracting process through financial modeling and analysis
• Present analytical results and findings to senior management and key stakeholders

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or Actuarial Sciences or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of analytics experience in financial analysis, healthcare pricing, network management, or related discipline
• 5+ years of increasingly complex database and data management responsibilities
• Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in SQL

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Master's Degree in a relevant field
• Experience in healthcare medical economics and strong financial analytics background
• Ability to identify and investigate complex medical cost issues
• Experience with industry-standard normalization/reimbursement methodologies (APR-DRG, MS-DRG, EAPG, APC)
