Overview

Join Axon as a Field Account Executive focused on the public safety market in the United States. This role emphasizes expanding our influence and capturing new relationships within public safety answer points (PSAPs) to grow revenue and client base. The position is fully remote within the United States with up to 50% travel within the territory.

What Youll Do
  • Drive Growth: Increase revenue and market share in targeted public safety agencies while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and deepen client relationships to drive revenue growth.
  • Strategize: Create and execute robust account strategies with the team to present strong value propositions.
  • Engage & Manage: Monitor client engagement and manage accounts to identify and execute growth opportunities and ensure service excellence.
  • Champion Satisfaction: Understand client needs and advocate for outstanding customer service.
  • Market Insight: Share market and competitor insights with leadership to inform strategy.
  • Lead Engagements: Navigate procurement processes with customers to achieve efficient contract timelines.
  • Stay Informed: Keep current on industry developments to guide sales strategies and positioning.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS, high-growth tech, public safety, and software sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and large contracts.
  • Strategic and analytical with experience in account plans, pipeline management, and closing enterprise deals.
  • Excellent communication with senior decision-makers, technical buyers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable in fast-moving environments; comfortable working with limited supervision.
  • Willing to travel 3050% for in-person meetings, relationship-building, and deal progression.
  • Nice to have: Public safety sales experience and knowledge of NG9-1-1, CAD, call-handling systems, or related technologies.

Pay Transparency

The base compensation for this role is approximately $150,000 per year, with a $330,000 OTE plan.
