About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Human Resources to take on a pivotal role in leading all HR functions across its extensive, multi-state farming operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a diverse workforce, including a significant seasonal population, and must have a proven track record in HR leadership, particularly in the areas of compliance, employee relations, and workforce planning. This hands-on leadership position requires the ability to collaborate with senior management to ensure that HR strategy is in line with business objectives. The role also demands extensive, hands-on experience with self-administering an H-2A visa program, expert knowledge of labor laws and compliance practices in California and Nevada, and a strong background in leading HR teams within large-scale seasonal or agricultural environments.

Applicants for the Vice President of Human Resources role at the company should hold a Bachelors degree in HR, business, or a related field, with an advanced degree or HR certification being preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of progressive HR leadership experience, particularly in multi-state operations, is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal and state employment compliance requirements, and experience in agriculture, food production, or large-scale seasonal workforce management. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
