What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Assist in the creation and interpretation of fiber optic, CATV, and copper/DSL Outside Plant Design maps
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers and adjacent teams to facilitate cost-effective construction of OSP facilities
• Create labor, material, and overhead project cost estimates
• Review Outside Plant designed projects for alignment with field services plans and accuracy
• Conduct audits of Outside Plant projects to ensure compliance with standards

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Associate degree (or higher) or 2+ years of professional work experience
• 3+ years of experience in Voice/Data/Video networking
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance
• Familiarity with Outside Plant Design and Construction methods
• Ability to manage changing priorities and handle multiple tasks concurrently

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with utility coordination and understanding of DOT and developer plans
• Knowledge of utility pole infrastructure and NESC rules
• Proficient in GIS tools and processes
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and team focus
