Our client isseeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to serve as a program lead for a discretionary grant focused on substance use prevention. This contract position will oversee high-impact public health initiatives, working closely with community partners to ensure effective programming, identify service gaps, and support outreach efforts. The analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for the assigned funding source and play a key role in data analysis, budget monitoring, and partner engagement.

Key Duties:

• Serve as the program lead and subject matter expert for a substance use prevention grant
• Collect, analyze, and interpret public health data to assess program impact
• Monitor grant budgets and ensure alignment with fiscal guidelines
• Develop and manage contracts with partner agencies
• Track and evaluate data sets related to prevention activities
• Lead community partner engagement and ensure compliance with grant deliverables
• Prepare reports and summaries to support decision-making and program evaluation
• Identify service gaps and recommend strategies for improvement
• Ensure timely completion of tasks under grant deadlines
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications and documentation

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences, public administration, social sciences, or a closely related field
• Minimum of three years of experience in health or social sciences involving data analysis, needs assessment, and program development
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with cost/benefit analysis, data collection, and statistical interpretation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools
