Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sorting and processing cardboards and other recyclable materials, as well as moving recycling items from bins to designated containers.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process cardboards and other recyclable materials.

• Move recycling items from bins to designated containers.

• Load and offload pallets from trailers.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in operating a forklift.

• Experience in material handling and inventory management.

• Skilled in picking, packing, and using an RF scanner.

• Ability to load and ship materials efficiently.

• Experience with pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to operate a pallet jack or electric pallet jack.

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

The position involves working in a dynamic and physically demanding environment. Employees are expected to handle various material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The role requires a standard dress code suitable for a warehouse setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carson City, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.50/hr.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Carson City,NV.
