Accounting And Tax Analyst

ANNA is the mobile app and business current account that does your admin. It's designed for UK-based freelancers, small businesses, and creative types. ANNA combines AI technologies and human customer service to make our customers' lives easier.

Our mission is to save our customers' time, freeing them up to concentrate on the other equally important parts of running their businesses.

ANNA's aim is to deal with all the time-consuming admin tasks that small business owners face. For this reason, our primary focus is on the automation of repetitive admin tasks, making things quicker and easier for our customers.

We currently employ around 180 people across the world; mainly software developers and data scientists who work on improving our product offering. Currently, over 35,000 customers trust ANNA to look after their banking and admin.

We're looking for an experienced accounting and tax analyst to join our team.

You will be expected to:

• Work with developers and UX designers to help automate bookkeeping and tax calculations.
• Ensure testing and excellent quality controls on the automation of bookkeeping, tax calculations, and return preparations.
• Help clients and customer support with complicated issues
• Review and adjust annual accounts and CT600 filings for microentities
• Educate Customer Experience agents to help clients with tax/bookkeeping issues
• Share knowledge with the public and ANNA clients and be our primary go to person for tax and accounting news; preparing articles, writing blog posts and newsletters to keep our customers up to date
