About the Role

Our high-energy restaurant is searching for a talented bakerto bring creativity, skill, and passion to our bakery team. In this role, you will use your experience to craft fresh, flavorful desserts and bakery items for multiple food outlets across the property. If you love creating delicious pastries and beautifully decorated desserts in a dynamic environment, we want to meet you!

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, muffins, Danishes, biscuits, baguettes, and specialty desserts.
  • Follow proper procedures for dough production, mixing, forming, traying, baking, storage, and pastry prep.
  • Decorate and present desserts with creativity, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Ensure all baked goods are produced to high quality standardsand portioned correctly.
  • Check display cases daily for freshness, quality, and visual appeal.
  • Ensure no baked goods leave the kitchen without a ticket.
  • Maintain attractive and consistent presentation across all outlets.
  • Create and test new dessert ideas for seasonal menus and feature items.
  • Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with management and the culinary team.
  • Uphold a positive and professional demeanor with guests, team members, and vendors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Professional baking experience preferred.
  • Cake and dessert decorating experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of dough development, pastry production, and bakery fundamentals
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Team player with effective communication skills
  • Ability to workday, swing, or grave shifts

Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma and/or GED preferred.
  • At least 2 years previous experience as a baker.
  • Must have 1 year Bakery experience.

Skills, Education and Other Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • The ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, potentially stressful environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
  • Must have the ability to successfully interact with other team members and management.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Work Cards
  • Food Handlers Certification

Machinery, Work Equipment, Programs, Software, Hardware Used
  • Must operate /maintain all kitchen equipment.
  • Computer experience
  • Microsoft Office programs
  • Paycom system
