Graveyard Barback - Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced graveyard Barback to join our Beverage team. This position plays a vital role in supporting our bartenders, maintaining efficient bar operations, and ensuring an exceptional guestexperience within a regulated casino environment. If you have previous barbacking or bartending experience and thrive in fast-paced overnight shifts, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all bars are fully stocked with beverages, glassware, garnishes, ice, and other supplies in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Respond promptly to bartender and supervisor requests for additional products, equipment, or replenishment.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free bar areas in compliance with casino, health, and safety regulations.
  • Follow all company policies, including responsible alcohol service practices and gaming-industry compliance standards.
  • Assist with inventory rotation, product organization, and proper storage procedures.
  • Support bartenders to ensure efficient service and a smooth guest experience during high-volume periods.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced, late-night environment.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Accept and respond to performance feedback professionally.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Beverage leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Previous barback or bartending experience preferred-casino or high-volume environment a plus.
  • Ability to work overnight (graveyard) shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must meet age requirements for working in a licensed alcohol-service environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and carry supplies up to required company standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to remain organized in a fast-moving environment.
  • Commitment to upholding all casino, state, and gaming regulatory policies.

Education and Experience:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must successfully complete the TIPS training class.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Additional Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • The ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
