We value having diverse teams and want you to grow as we grow - whether youre just starting out in your career or managing a large team, youll be amazed at the magnitude of your impact./ppWhat You Will Do:/pulliWorking with customers to resolve a wide range of issues with their Confluent deployments/liliContributing to process development - were a small team, so were looking for people who want to help us lay the foundation for growing efficiently and with a best-in-class culture/liliCommunicating with our Engineering team to provide real-time product feedback from the field/liliImproving product documentation and authoring knowledge base articles/liliCreating and reviewing product demos and internal tooling/liliWorking closely with the team behind Apache Kafka!/li/ulpWhat You Will Bring:/pulliExcitement in learning about streaming data and becoming a domain expert in the Confluent Data Stream Platform/liliRegularly provide technical support within your current role/liliStrong debugging skills for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to external or integrated software systems provided by third parties/liliProficiency in Java or Scala/liliExperience in diagnosing, reproducing and resolving customer issues/liliExperience with Java, Databases, Cloud Object stores, Messaging systems, Cloud Functions is a plus/liliExperience with client server technologies or distributed systems/liliDesire to make customers successful through direct interaction./liliTwo out of these three:/liulliExperience troubleshooting applications running on Linux (resource contention, network bottlenecks, etc.)/liliOperational knowledge of Java applications (stack, jmap, etc.)/liliExperience with at least one mainstream distributed system (e.g. Kafka, Kafka Connect, Spark etc)/li/ul/ulpBelonging isnt a perk here.
