Job Summary:

The IMLS Grant intern will be working on outreach for our rock and fossil exhibit. Student should have a well-developed understanding of geology and is willing to learn in depth about our collections in order to fulfill duties.

Tasks include, but not limited to:

  • Prepare and lead tours of the rock and fossil collections.
  • Develop digital media for educational purposes on touch screens and on the web.
  • Develop hands on activities and games for visitors in the rock and fossil room and for events
  • Assist with promoting the opening of the Rock and Fossil Room.
