Assistant Website Manager - Chevrolet

Location: Hybrid (Tower, Warren, MI - minimum of three visits per week)

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a knack for digital strategies? If so, our client is looking for you! We are on the hunt for a dynamic Assistant Website Manager to bolster digital strategy development and implementation across content, shopping tools, and marketing campaigns. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth and efficient online research and shopping experience and requires close collaboration with our creative, marketing, UX, data, and analytics teams to optimize the customer journey from discovery to purchase.

The perfect candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, a solid understanding of website strategy, digital marketing, and the digital creative process. A passion for enhancing website performance and user experience, coupled with expertise in user testing, search engine optimization (SEO), experience with shopping tools in the automotive industry, and CGI asset creation are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Steer the digital customer experience strategy across key digital channels, including the Chevy.com website and CGI asset development.
  • Identify the features and functionality necessary to effectively communicate the Chevrolet product and brand story.
  • Manage daily processes and timelines, coordinating with production and creative agencies to ensure timely launches.
  • Guide several external agency teams responsible for executing the digital strategy, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
  • Work closely with marketing colleagues and internal business partners to continually improve the website and drive key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Advocate for the user by implementing industry best practices, usability research, and customer insights throughout the design and development process.
  • Collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners within the organization to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Regularly review analytics reporting and provide actionable insights for ongoing digital optimization, including A/B testing and Test/Target initiatives.
  • Conduct usability studies, competitive reviews/audits, and benchmarking studies to drive website improvements.
  • Oversee content strategy and management and asset creation for the development of vehicle model overview pages and shopping tools.
  • Conduct content research, development, and optimization for the website and related digital platforms.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of user experience (UX) design and digital marketing best practices.
  • Familiarity with online shopping tools and content management systems.
  • Background in search engine optimization (SEO) and experience with online shopping tools and content management systems.
  • Technical aptitude to grasp complex issues and communicate effectively with technology teams and designers.
  • Experience with usability testing, A/B testing, and translating user insights into actionable site improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of digesting site metrics and recommending enhancements.
  • Experience with CGI asset creation to support digital content needs.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a large organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Passion for the automotive industry and familiarity with electric vehicles (EVs) is a plus.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications or a related field.
  • 3+ years of digital marketing or product management experience working on high-traffic consumer-facing websites.
