Our client is seeking to contract with a highly capable and motivated nuclear shielding and criticality engineer to work on the Natrium Demonstration Project. The primary software is MCNP 6.2, and strong MCNP skills are required.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated and capable of working effectively in a remote environment. The class of problems includes shielding, energy deposition, neutron fluence, activation, and criticality. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Experience working in an NQA-1 environment with rigorous quality standards is desirable.
