Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 rotating shifts with varied, rotating days of the week
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours
• Call requirements: Call is required with after hours standby and callback time
• 2 years of MRI experience required
• Required licenses: AART (Certification in MRI preferred, R.T., R.M.R.I.T.)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Produce diagnostic MRI scans and assist radiologists and referring physicians in MRI procedures
• Operate MRI scanner equipment efficiently and accurately with advanced physics knowledge
• Provide patient care for all age groups from infant to geriatric
• Make technical decisions to provide optimal MRI image quality
• May be required to float to other departments based on organizational needs and competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up additional shifts during schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts
• Must maintain high standards of accuracy, communication, and professionalism in fast-paced environment

This healthcare facility is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, serving a 500-mile radius with 800 inpatient beds and 80 ER beds operating at the volume and pace of a Level 1 trauma center. The facility treats over 80,000 ER and trauma patients annually and houses the region's only children's hospital, leading robotic surgery institute, and comprehensive neurosciences, heart, and cancer services. The organization features state-of-the-art technology including the newest 3T MRI technologies, dedicated PET/CT scanner, and Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, making it the most advanced care facility in the region.
