Under the direction of the clinic provider, the Resource Team Medical Assistant is accountable for assisting the providers in all back office procedures in all Renown Medical Group and Urgent Care facilities. This position is expected to travel to all sites to provide coverage for vacancies, leave time, and sick calls. This position could be called upon to provide support to the front office if business needs dictate. These responsibilities could include patient check in and checkout procedures. The incumbent has the added responsibility of providing a direct liaison between provider and patient, making certain that the patient s questions and concerns have been addressed. The Resource Team need to maintain competencies to work on all medical groups and urgent cares to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner. The position must have the flexibly and willingness to work in all facilities.
