Shifts:

• Evening Shift: Saturday-Wednesday 3 PM - 11:30 PM EST

• Night Shift 1: Monday-Friday 11 PM - 7:30 AM EST

• Night Shift 2: Friday-Tuesday 11 PM - 7:30 AM EST

Job Summary:

As a Senior ROI Medical Records Specialist, you will expertly process all release of information requests while providing top-notch customer service. You will ensure the safeguarding of patient privacy by adhering to HIPAA regulations and company policies. Your attention to detail and dedication to quality will play a critical role in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process ROI requests while maintaining accuracy and adherence to established procedures and quality standards.
• Validate requests and patient authorizations in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Conduct quality checks on documentation to ensure accuracy and confidentiality in record handling.
• Provide exceptional customer service through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Keep up-to-date with state laws and regulations impacting medical records.
• Collaborate flexibly with team members during periods of high workload.
• Handle sensitive information with the highest integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of internal ROI experience with Sharecare or 3 years of external ROI experience.
• Proficient in multiple EMR platforms and ROI request types.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Physical capacity to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Manual dexterity for typing, writing, and handling documents.

Compliance and Integrity:

• Maintain patient confidentiality in adherence to HIPAA standards.
• Participate in mandatory training and compliance programs.
