Summary

A Maintenance Technician performs various duties on all buildings and grounds owned or operated by Carson Tahoe Health. Collaborates with the specialty trades and other employees in completing assigned tasks; repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment.

Qualifications

Required
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance or 3 years in a specialty trade, e.g., Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in operating power tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, life safety, and building maintenance and can troubleshoot and repair utility systems and components.
• Ability to communicate, read and write in English
• Current unrestricted driver's license.
