Offer guest assistance and customer service to guests checking in and out of the hotel, moving up through various roles, ending in a supervisory role. In this position, the candidate will progress through a series of positions:

  • Guest Service Agent- assists guests with checking in and out and customer service at the front desks
  • VIP Coordinator- assists the highest level VIP guests in the VIP offices
  • Rooms Inventory Controller- inventory management and system balancing
  • Night Audit- Balancing the system, checking balances prior to date roll
  • Hotel Shift Supervisor- candidate will be able to successfully manage a shift independently
Responsibilities
  • Greets guests in a warm and friendly manner using specialized skills and personalized service.
  • Registers guests into hotel following established procedures, working in coordination with other employees or departments as required to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Processes payments following established procedures.
  • Informs guests of events, facilities, services and room amenities available at Harrah's/Caesars Republic.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of Front Desk and surrounding areas
  • Assists guests by attempting to honor special requests for specific accommodations, and presents options when those requests cannot be met.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous guest/customer service experience preferred
  • Literate and fluent in English
  • Ability to type minimum of 35 WPM
  • Literate and fluent in English
  • Excellent guests service skills
  • Ability to handle difficult or stressful situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to demonstrate a pleasant and enthusiastic demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (4 hours).
  • Must have a flexible schedule as the shifts will change through the rotations.
  • Visual and auditory range must include immediate environment.
  • Mobility to move about the property
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
  • Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
  • Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy
    environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
