Akkodis is seeking a Shop Technician for a Contract job with a client in Reno, NV. Ideally looking for a hands-hands-on, shop-floor technician who can assemble and build parts accurately and consistently. Work comfortably in a production/manufacturing environment. Handle testing, troubleshooting, and minor repairs. Follow processes, SOPs, and quality standards strictly

Rate Range: $20/hour to $21/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Shop Technician Job Requirements:

Assemble fabricated parts, components, or units at workstations

Perform machine setup and basic operation

Conduct testing, inspection, and calibration of parts

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in assembly / manufacturing / shop environment

Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, or instructions

Knowledge of:

• Testing & inspection methods
• Calibration basics
• Machine setup/operation
