SUMMARY
The Sanitation Supervisor provides strong leadership to the Sanitation team to achieve full plant compliance with all personnel safety, food safety, sanitation/cleaning requirements pertaining to all federal, state and customer requirements and the Company's own food safety and manufacturing standards. They must meet or exceed guidelines as they pertain to the facility, equipment, and industry standards for sanitation and SQF. The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for the daily management of Sanitation & Cleaning services, personnel, and project support.
Sanitation Supervisor performs a variety of tasks including special projects, cleaning, sanitizing, requisitioning supplies and equipment, facilities inspection, and other duties as required based on the needs of the business. The Sanitation Supervisor works with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment to address issues but will be required to justify actions. The Sanitation Supervisor is a working position who may work in a team environment, or on specific assigned projects. Duties will also include helping to develop new methods, staff training and evaluation, and completing daily reports. Special Project Assignments may occasionally fluctuate between inside & outside environments, scheduled work shifts, scheduled workdays.
