Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour shifts with weekends and varied graveyard shifts • 36 guaranteed hours per week • Call requirements - may be required to pick up call shifts (details discussed during interviews) • 2 years of MRI experience required • Required licenses: AART (certification in MRI preferred, R.T., R.M.R.I.T.) • Required certifications: BLS (AHA) • May be required to float to other areas based on competency level • May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period • Facility has right to call off shifts with 48 hours notice for low census • Schedule varies based on department needs including weekends, holidays, and call shifts • Produce diagnostic MRI scans and assist radiologists in MRI procedures • Ensure patient care for all age groups from infant to geriatric • Must demonstrate technical skills and advanced physics knowledge for MRI scanner operation • Work in extremely busy and fast-paced environment • Must be proficient with various MRI scanning equipment and hospital computer systems • Provide after hours standby and callback coverage as needed Facility: This Level II trauma center is the only trauma facility between Sacramento and Salt Lake City, treating over 80,000 emergency and trauma patients annually.
