Job Details

All applicants must complete the proficiency exam in order to be considered for the position. This exam will be emailed out after submitting of an application. This exam will take approximately 2 hours and can be completed remotely. Current law enforcement dispatchers, or individuals who were law enforcement dispatchers for at least one year within the past 3-years, will not need to take the computerized exam. Class specifications are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed by employees in the class. Specifications are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.
